KILMORE STREET HOTEL AND APARTMENTS
United Scaffolding Group (Christchurch) provided essential services during the construction of the new Wyndham Garden Christchurch City Hotel and Apartments for Clearwater Construction.
Ramada Suites Hotel
The hotel will offer 93 serviced apartments and rooms, as well as conference facilities, and will replace the former Ricoh offices. During demolition phase, United Scaffolding Group provided perimeter edge protection for the removal of existing facade panels, as well as a full internal handrail system and stair towers to the internal lift cores.
Lake Tekapo Motel

Mataura Valley Milk Plant
The Mataura Valley Milk Plant – a new dairy processing plant in Gore – was one of the first in Australasia to enter into the highly specialised nutritional milk market, manufacturing premium infant formulas for export. The nutritionals market worldwide is worth NZ$60 billion and growing.
Ryman Retirement Village Devonport
United Scaffolding Group has provided access scaffolding, temporary roofing and propping during construction of this new retirement facility in Devonport. Once complete, the village will offer independent and assisted living apartments, as well as rest home, hospital and dementia care services.
Burwood Hospital Redevelopment
Two years of hard work and more than $200 million have transformed the old Burwood Hospital into a world-class healthcare facility. The upgrade, which is part of a $650 million rebuild of both Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals, is the largest health-building project in New Zealand’s history.
Christchurch Airport Control Tower
Repair of earthquake damage to Airport Control Tower – including crack mapping, injection and colour blending to both external and internal concrete panels. Hawkins Construction contracted United Scaffolding Group to design and erect the scaffolding structure for Airways NZ.
Fiore 2 Apartments Project
This unique heritage building apartment and retail development on Hobson Street incorporates 74 apartments on 14 levels, with retail spaces at ground level.
Orangetheory Stadium
United Scaffolding Group is supplying access scaffolding to enable painting of the roof beams at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch. Orangetheory Stadium was erected as a temporary venue after the 2011 earthquake destroyed the city’s AMI Stadium.
Tank Formwork Project
The revolutionary Tifa Flexiform can be contoured to any shape (from circular to free-form) and extended to any height. The system is particularly suitable for forming reservoirs and foundation ring-beams; as pictured with this tank formwork.
Rangitata Gorge
United Scaffolding Group installed scaffolding for a new build residential property. Scaffolding was installed on the perimeter of the house and on gable walls.
Biomass Boiler Project
United Scaffolding Group provided access for multiple trades to complete the build of the Biomass Boiler for Danone Nutricia. Exterior and interior scaffolds were built on all elevations.
Speights Airbridge Refurbishment
United Scaffolding Group Dunedin provided support towers and suspended bridge trusses for maintenance to the walkway bridge (“Airbridge”) over Rattray Street in Dunedin.
