Mataura Valley Milk Plant

The Mataura Valley Milk Plant – a new dairy processing plant in Gore – was one of the first in Australasia to enter into the highly specialised nutritional milk market, manufacturing premium infant formulas for export. The nutritionals market worldwide is worth NZ$60 billion and growing.

The plant is a partnership between New Zealand and overseas investors with a total construction cost of NZ$240m.

United Scaffolding Group supported both construction and fit-out phases of the plant, which was officially opened in August 2018.

The project is an exciting development for the local area, with the economic benefit to the region estimated at $90 million annually.
